Post-doc position in neuroscience team at the ‘Imaging and Modeling in Neurobiology and Cancerology’ lab (Orsay)
A post-doctoral research position funded by ‘Agence Nationale de la Recherche’ (ANR) for two years is available for a highly motivated researcher with technical skills in electrophysiology. The project is focused on the study of brain energy metabolism and plasticity in the olfactory bulb and the hippocampus in rodents. The focus of this postdoctoral work will be the neuro-energetic coupling during hippocampal LTP with the use of electrophysiology, biosensors for lactate and laser Doppler flowmetry for complementary data acquisitions in vivo. Application should include a CV, a description of previous research work, a list of publications and at least one letter of reference. Four post-doctoral positions are available at the laboratory for Cellular Physiology of the Synapse (Bordeaux)
Candidates with less than four years experience after their PhD are sought for post-doc positions. Candidates should have an excellent record of achievement and expertise in one of the following: cell biology, high resolution or single molecule imaging, brain slice electrophysiology, chemical or genetic engineering of bio-sensors, physical-chemistry of nano-particles. Project ranges from the analysis of actin turnover or the single molecule measurement of glutamate receptor trafficking and its physiological function to the development of new high resolution imaging methods and bio-sensors.
